While you may not see the astrology in this piece right away, look again. This is a Virgoan Venus figure, Virgo is the only sign of the zodiac portrayed as a woman. The space is split equally into 12 parts, for the 12 zodiac signs. Her head represents Virgo while her feet occupy the opposite sign of Pisces (which rules the feet) and they’re placed in a pentagram, the symbol of Venus, the planet that is Exalted in Pisces.
I hadn't planned to release it on the first day of Virgo season, while Venus was in Virgo, making her a symbol of the Virgo goddess. But by doing just that, even more symbolism came through because now the sign opposite Virgo, Pisces would be at her feet, and Pisces does rule the feet. Very unintentional but I love that it worked out that way.
This high quality 16" x 20" canvas print comes ready to hang:
• 0.75″ (19.05 mm) thick canvas
• Canvas fabric weight: 10.15 +/- 0.74 oz/yd² (344 g/m² +/- 25g/m²)
• Wall mounts attached
• Rubber pads on the back to avoid damage
• Slimmer than regular canvases
